Photographs made blurry by the combined action of the darkness that closes in on the characters and the grain of the picture, with something of a marbled effect, like a stone texture as a symbol of duration and permanence in opposition to the series’ title The spectre of youthfulness. Other series about some remote timelessness, like recollections still clouded in memory, aged artifacts to make them come back to the surface, and keeping them with the fragile strands of desire that awakens so long after in this dim light we cannot grasp.
