Bunnygirls whose silhouette is often drawn in hollow in the shade it defines, only seen through their attires, gloves and high heels, bunny ears and tight bustier, and couples with passionate kisses as well, on patinated copper plates to play with the matter and its reflections.

Interview with Pam Glew

What message(s) do you want to express through your work?

Expressing moments in time and representing women in a sexually empowering way.

Which artists inspire you?, who are your masters?

Artists inspiring me: Gary Hume, Katrina Fritz, Ellen Von Unwerth.
Masters: Egon Schiele, Gustav Klimt, Toulous Lautrec.

What have you gained by being on the internet?

Commissions, exhibitions and new contacts.

Did the internet enable you to meet new models, to find new exhibit places?

Yes, I was able to get most of my exhibitions through my website.

What projects mean a lot to you at the moment?

In the process of making a series of work about circus girls and performers. These girls are sexy, yet quite dark and disturbing, quite untouchable, there is something quite haunting about their presence.

Could you tell us a few words about the place you live/work in?

Brighton, UK.
