- Native American Indian Porcelain Dolls (gto) $4500
Three Native American dolls. All made by Ann Longo, a Seminole artist from Naples, Florida. The male is a portrait of OB Osceola Jr. a 5th-generation descendant of the famous Osceola Seminole war leader in fancy dance costume. He stands at about 20" tall. The second doll is a traditionally dressed grandmother and child, and the third is a young girl. The grandmother is about 16" and the young girl stands at about 14".
Some of the artist's most acclaimed historical dolls have been displayed at the Collier Museum in Naples. The figures of the male dancer and the young girl are both first-prize winners. They were aquired in the late 1980's and have been in a glass case, so they are in great condition.Posté le 26 oct. à 16h30
